Today is the informal “National Tax Freedom Day” which signifies the first day of the year that Americans are actually earning money from themselves, as the $$ earned up until today is the amount that the U.S. Government takes from them every year. Sadly, this day will certainly be coming later in the year as the massive spending by our government will necessitate a celebration around Thanksgiving. Do you know where your Tax Day Tea Party is?

PLEASE get up off of the couch. Do not let anyone tell your participation will go unnoticed. Do not believe that the protests are impotent exercises. Realize that this is still your right, and I would submit, your duty to your children and grandchildren. We must exercise the rights we have left while we still have them, to change the disastrous direction our nation is headed.
