The New American Tea Party: We’re Mad As Hell, Not Gonna Take It Anymore

Rick Santelli let the genie out of the bottle, thank heavens. Like any good trader, Rick knows how to spot a trend…and he gave a voice to this one. A CNN poll released today showed that almost 75% of Americans are SCARED (exact word), and do NOT approve of the crap flying out of Washington. Many, many groups and individuals are now stepping up to the plate in the wake of last week’s anti-stimulus/anti-entitlement protests, and the call for a nationwide Tea Party. The New American Tea Party is the place to go to band together, with great tips on how to organize a protest and talking points for when the cameras are pointed at you. Pajamas TV has a clearing house for Tea Party events, led by PJTV’s Michelle Malkin. There’s even a forum: OTP2009.
The New American Tea Party is “a coalition of citizens and organizations concerned about the recent trend of fiscal recklessness in government…dedicated to the Washington, D.C. effort specifically sponsored by the American Spectator, the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, the National Taxpayers Union, Americans for Prosperity, and the Young Conservatives Coalition.” Check them out on their site, or on PJTV to learn about planned protests, and how to start your own. Don’t worry about being the first, because you aren’t. They’re happening all over the country.
It’s easy for government to ignore emails and phonecalls. It’s harder to ignore loud people with signs. It’s especially hard for your Governor, who just finished kissing Obama’s ass today. Ad nauseum. Your Governor really needs a wakeup call too.

Its time to TAKE our country back and ELIMINATE the traders who run the government which is the president on down. No More Career Polititions. Only savy business people (CITIZENS) WHO LOVE AND WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THIS COUNTRY not destroy it like Harry Reid, Obama, Pollouci, shurmer, Barrnie frank and the list is long.

Like any good hustler Santelli knows how to whip up the rabble and in this case it was middle class rabble who are trying to keep ahead of the joneses not help them out. These tea parties were an embarrassment and people looked like idiots. In my city it was all of 8 people in the rain. Puh-leeeze.

I think “The Joneses” are kinda OUT this year. Congrats to the 8 patriots in your town willing to freeze for their rights. You may want to thank them instead of laughing. Guess it’s gonna take a little more shafting for you to get off the couch, though. Hope you’ve got the grease, because Barry’s got plenty more coming.
