It is ON! Over 2400 Tea Parties are occurring today around the country, in all 50 states. I just returned from Nashville’s protest which was a smash success. An estimated 10,000 people (confirmed not only by our organizers, but ALSO by the capitol police) gathered in Legislative Plaza to say ENOUGH. If you are a Congressman who voted for a bailout, best start looking for another line of work by 2010.

You will realize that you are SO not alone in your exasperation with the insanity in Washington, and the desperate need to stop the spendfests NOW. Young, old, all races, all backgrounds, all political parties, with one message are in Nashville and around the U.S.A. today saying:

Government: You are officially on notice. YOUR party is quickly coming to an end.

Most of the mainstream media has chosen to call us “the fringe”, “angry Republicans”, and “extremists”. We are none of these things. We are, however, not going away.

There were a ton of great signs in Nashville, and as parties will be continuing into the evening and more protests will be coming in the weeks and months to come, I thought I’d share some of them with you who may have writer’s block! It happens!! The party does NOT stop today…it has just begun. Tea Party Nation was launched this week to be the social networking site for we, the disenfranchised. Come together and let’s take back our country.
