Muntadhar al-Zeidi, the Egyptian journalist shoe-chucker, took advantage of the freedoms President Bush enabled in Iraq to physically assault him in front of the world. Now al-Zeidi, who is locked away in a Baghdad prison, fears for his life and wants to seek asylum:
