Many of these politicians have been in office more than 30 years. Their campaign for reelection begins on the first day of the new term. They will never vote themselves out of office. The only true answer is to vote them out of office. Unless you exercise your right to vote and take them out at the ballot box they will continue what they want rather than what the voters want. Thomas Jefferson said "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent". Term Limits is not the answer although a great
