UPDATES: From Hot Air- What a scam. Carl Levin says that the money being yanked out now to get the bill through the Senate might very well be reinserted during the conference committee with the House. CNN says the vote is expected tonight, and Teddy Kennedy’s expected to be there, he’s flying in from Florida because the Dems need him for cloture.

The horse-trading on Porkulus continues, and talk of give and take is flying. We are in deep trouble…congressmen have been heard saying “we don’t have time to debate this.” Obama is leading this mass push to “pass NOW, reap later.” Currently, only 2 Republicans in all of Congress are expected to be FOR the disaster. The American people overwhelmingly, certainly are NOT.

Who do you really trust anymore? Neither one of these political parties believe in anything but their own power. Democrats are making hay and grabbing for everything they can now. The Census just got moved from the Commerce Department to NOW being under RAHMBO. All redistricting will now be in the hands of the Executive branch of government. Which consists of Chicago goons, tax cheats, and old Washington insiders. Let that one sink in for a minute.

Stand up! Refuse to be a comrade! Piecemeal stripping elements out of the Porkulus is conceding the premise. The whole thing is infected. It will create new baselines, and we will never rid ourselves of the giant bloat. News is breaking that some kind of deal has been reached in the Senate that is a compromise. Dems say the Senate will pass it, and that it’s about 42 percent tax-cuts. A vote looked uncertain tonight until about 30 minutes ago.
