Police Prepare For Possible Election Night Violence

Police in several major urban areas including Washington, DC, Miami, Philadelphia, Oakland and Toledo are preparing for possible violence tonight because of the Presidential election.
Toledo police have been issued riot gear, and ordered to have it with them today and tomorrow. Miami is in full-defense mode… extra riot police have been ordered, schools have been closed, and the electric utility companies have called in extra manpower to quickly fix any electricity outages.
Lefty, naughty author Erica Jong threatened “blood in the streets” last week if Barack Obama loses. Stick to fiction, Erica. Jesse Jackson has allegedly signed an online petition pledging “civil disobedience” while other activists are calling for a government shutdown if John McCain wins the election. Holy crap! Are we in Nicaragua? Guess they don’t teach good sportsmanship any more. (Or history. I digress.) Maybe you should lock-n-load while you can still own a gun!
