Pandemic?

As the world psyche melts down into a quivering bowl of barbeque over “SWINE FLU!!”, Big Pharma is surely wringing it’s hands with worry. (Not.) Today, Homeland Security Secretary Janet “you might be a terrorist” Napolitano informed us that 11 MILLION doses of Tamiflu and other antivirals are on their way to the states; and they’re being hidden in secret camps, guarded by the National Guard. Because this flu is so badass that it has killed ONE person in the U.S. (who was a baby from Mexico). 10 total deaths worldwide as of today. Huh? What are we missing?

The subtraction of these 11 million doses from the national stockpile of 50 million doses will be immediately replenished. Cha-Ching for Roche and the gang!! Who knows how deep the deception goes on this one; the media now has backed off of Mexico’s death numbers by a factor of 10. Why? There are 13,000 probable cases there, according to the RSOE. Australia’s government told it’s citizens yesterday to stock up and prepare for 14 days of isolation. Reports are completely chaotic, and increasingly unreliable. No question there is some serious monkey business going on, so here’s a decent place to view the real-time flu data.

While we’re waiting for better data, let’s just take a look at some OTHER annual killers:

Number of abortions per year: Approximately 42 Million
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 115,000
Drunk Driving fatalities: 2007: 41,059
Influenza Deaths in US per year: 35,000
AIDS death per year in US alone: 20,000
Cancer deaths in US in 2008: 565,650

Oh, I know, this may just be the first wave of the flu, and that things could get much worse. Smithfield Foods’ pork operation in La Gloria is suspect in this flu’s origin.

The outbreak, however, certainly is a convenient distraction from Obama’s $4 Trillion dollar budget that passed yesterday, from rabid abortionist Kathleen Sebelius’ confirmation at Health and Human Services (just in time! We HAD to confirm her…we are in the middle of a PANDEMIC!), the now-percolating H.R. 1913 which will broaden “hate speech” laws enough to make your local pastor a criminal for teaching certain scriptures- and you one if you agree with him out loud. Oh, and that credit card reform bill? DOA today in the Senate, the best legislative body the ABA can buy. And that’s just the short list. Universal Health care is coming fast…(see above Obama budget-passing.)

Keep in mind, when someone says “look over there”, there may be something to see back where you WERE looking. The best thing you can learn from the “swine flu” epidemic is to be prepared for REAL doom when it comes, consider this a possible test run, expect more panics in the future, remember that biological warfare is real, and don’t take your eyes off of Washington…who has serious powers to quarantine you… for a second.
