White House Has To Delay Budget Release: Figures Are Worse Than In May

The Obama administration is having to acknowledge the massive gap between its ridiculously upbeat predictions about the economy and today’s stark landscape. The release of the update, usually scheduled for mid-July, has been put off until the middle of next month. The White House is trying to pull a quarterback sneak by delaying the bad news until Congress leaves town on its August 7 summer recess. More tricks from the tricksters.

The annual midsummer budget update will certainly show higher deficits and unemployment, and slower growth than the unicorn and rainbow projections in Obama’s giant Feburary and May budgets. The good news is, this could confound his efforts to get his health care and global-warming proposals through Congress. IF you continue to act by contacting your Congressmen. Click here to quickly and easily voice your opinion.

Obama has begun the dictator-speak, warning that he will prevail on both of the insane plans. He’s pressing for votes before the recess; more of the “hurry up” tactics he’s used to bulldoze previous measures through Congress. Thankfully, lawmakers are arguing over how to finance the horrors, and this may buy us a smidgen time.

Yesterday, White House budget director, Peter Orszag, said that the administration believes the “chances are high” of getting a health care bill by then. But new analysis showing the crazy runaway costs of both plans are jeopardizing Senate passage.

The budget release will probably be a bombshell. Tony Fratto, a Former Treasury Dept. official says: “Instead of a dream this could be a nightmare. There are some things that can’t be escaped.”

They can still be spun and railroaded upon the public. Wake up your friends and neighbors to be active. Many ARE waking up, but we need sanity and action from everyone. Many in Congress are listening hard to you, and are skittish about putting their stamp on these socialist laws that will chain us all.

A Washington Post-ABC News survey released today shows approval of Obama’s handling of health-care reform slipping below 50 percent for the first time. The poll also found support eroding on how Obama is dealing with other issues that are important to Americans right now…the economy, unemployment and the swelling budget deficit.

Keep it up, don’t stop, contact them over and over.
Blow up their servers, clog their voice mailboxes. Our future and the future of our nation forever is at stake.

ObamaCare: House Bill Now Says You Can NOT Keep Your Private Insurance

Remember that whole line about how “if you like your current health insurance program then you can keep it”? Well it was a lie. Shocka !!

The current version of the ObamaCare House bill says that you will be forced out of your private insurance plan within 5 years (or less) and into a government selected plan:

Two main bills are being rushed through Congress with the goal of combining them into a finished product by August. Under either, a new government bureaucracy will select health plans that it considers in your best interest, and you will have to enroll in one of these “qualified plans.” If you now get your plan through work, your employer has a five-year “grace period” to switch you into a qualified plan. If you buy your own insurance, you’ll have less time.

But wait, it gets worse. Remember how your premiums go up each year with your private insurance? If that happens, and it will, you will be automatically and immediately forced out of your private plan and into the government’s selected plan for you. Forced.

And as soon as anything changes in your contract — such as a change in copays or deductibles, which many insurers change every year — you’ll have to move into a qualified plan instead (House bill, p. 16-17).

Once you’re forced into the ObamaCare plan you’ll have to pay whatever the cost is no matter how high it goes. You’ll have no choice:

A family of four is eligible for some government assistance until their household income reaches $88,000 (House bill, p. 137). If you earn more than that, you’ll have to pay the cost no matter how high it goes.

So the promise from Obama that you’ll be able to keep your current insurance is a lie. Under the current plan being sent through the House you’ll have to change into the government selected health care program and then pay whatever it costs, no matter how high the price is.

Read the full analysis here at NYPost including direct citations of where in the House bill you can find these problems. This is not speculation, this is fact.

Be sure to watch PJTV’s investigative report on Canada’s health care system which the current administration is touting as a model example. I’ll give you a hint how it goes: disastrously.

R.I.P Walter Cronkite: Cronkite Announcing JFK’s Death

Comments Off on R.I.P Walter Cronkite: Cronkite Announcing JFK’s Death

The world lost a great man last night, the legendary Walter Cronkite. Cronkite was the voice of news in America for an enormously long time…the man America trusted to bring them the truth in a truly unbiased way. He was the first real “anchor”, and not only was he the head anchor at CBS, he was managing editor- Walter chose what stories were headlined and what were not. He was 92 years old. Rest in peace, Walter. Here is one of his most famous moments…announcing the death of President John F. Kennedy to the world. He was the greatest.

The Future Of Health Care Rationing

Comments Off on The Future Of Health Care Rationing

A look at the future under Obamacare! The House has given us another 1000 page-plus nightmare we are laboriously reading now. Click here to read along with us! Trillions of dollars for euthanasia, abortion and NO choices despite Obama’s lies that you can choose to keep your current health plan if you want to. (See pages 14-16). Investors Business Daily caught it too…

When we first saw the paragraph Tuesday, just after the 1,018-page document was released, we thought we surely must be misreading it. So we sought help from the House Ways and Means Committee.

It turns out we were right: The provision would indeed outlaw individual private coverage. Under the Orwellian header of “Protecting The Choice To Keep Current Coverage,” the “Limitation On New Enrollment” section of the bill clearly states:

“Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.

So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised — with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won’t be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Senators Are Sneaking “Hate Crimes” Legislation Into Appropriations Bill-

Comments Off on Senators Are Sneaking “Hate Crimes” Legislation Into Appropriations Bill-

Your Senators are trying to hide something from you today. They’re finishing work on the annual appropriations bill- which is “must-pass” legislation. As they’ve been unsuccessful in their past attempts to pass federal laws that give special protections to victims of “hate crimes”, they are sneaking the legislation into the appropriations bill. This is the way things are done on the Hill. CSPAN-2 is covering the debate now.

We have laws to deal with victims of crime. We are all equally protected under these laws. It is not a big leap from “hate crimes” to “thought crimes.” Not in these insane times.

Attorney General Eric Holder admitted in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the federal hate bill (S-909) will NOT equally protect all Americans. Holder says that the bill is to protect specific groups that have a history of being targeted by violence because of the color of their skin or sexual orientation.

The Constitution grants equal rights to all. What’s even more outrageous is that when Senator Coburn (R-OK) asked Holder if the murder of an American soldier in Arkansas by a Muslim extremist qualifies as a hate crime, Holder replied again that the bill is to protect groups that have historically been persecuted such as Blacks, Jews, and Homosexuals. Holder also admits the bill allows for Federal prosecution if a local jurisdiction refuses to prosecute. This is a clear violation of the 10th Amendment, which grants jurisdiction to state governments.

This Bill does NOT provide equal protection to all Americans and is therefore unconstitutional. It grants special rights to certain groups, while making the rest of us second-class citizens.

The job of the Attorney General is to uphold the Constitution. Holder and Congress CLEARLY have no interest in the legality or Constitutionality of this bill.
You know the drill. Contact your Representatives today and tell them to vote NO to this unconstitutional, unfair legislation… and that you are fed up with this type of legislative trick. You can also call Call toll-free 1-877-851-6437 or toll 1-202-225-3121. Go to your Senator’s Youtube channel and call them out in public.

Here’s Eric Holder’s outrageous testimony.

Vast Expansion Of Abortion Included In House Healthcare Bill

Flow Chart Of Democrats’ Health Care Plan

As the House of Representatives and the Senate continue to bulldoze their universal healthcare agenda through, rushing to meet Obama’s decreed deadline, even more disturbing details of the plan are coming to light. Yesterday, Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) held a Washington press conference and asked:

“Why the rush to enact Mr. Obama’s exceedingly expensive, complex and potentially ruinous health care restructuring plan without the benefit of comprehensive hearings on and through a vetting of the actual bill text? Obamacare is the greatest threat ever to the lives and wellness of unborn children and their mothers since Roe v. Wade was rendered in 1973.”

Smith highlighted a study by the Planned Parenthood’s Guttmacher Institute showed that the widened availability of abortion through government funding increases the number of unborn children killed by 20%-35%.

“Obamacare opens the spigot of public funding and does more to facilitate abortion than any action since Roe. This is the big one!” said Smith. Congressman Smith pointed out an “egregious flaw” in the bill, …its requirement that all insurance providers contract with “essential community providers” – a huge gift to Planned Parenthood.

“In other words, all health insurance companies will be compelled by the Obamacare to contract with abortion clinics or simply not be certified to do business.”

Last week, Sen. Orrin Hatch asked Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) as to whether the funds would cover abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood. Hatch had to press Mikulski for the truth, and she finally admitted that Planned Parenthood clinics and abortion services would be subsidized by the House plan. Uh-Oh, Ghana Media Said Obama “Returned To The Continent Of His Birth”

UPDATE: Screenshots are your friends!

Snap! Did they not get the memo?! The African nation of Ghana was SO thrilled to host Barack Obama and Co. last week that Modern Ghana News gushed a big OOPS. Fourth paragraph down- read it and weep, Barry.

“Mr & Mrs Obama US President Barack Obama is expected to announce a major foreign policy for Africa during his historic two-day visit to Ghana, beginning Friday, July 10, 2009.

Although Mr Obama has made foreign policy pronouncements for some parts of the world since assuming office in January, this year, he is yet to make one for Africa, and his visit to the country, which the White House describes as “one of our most trusted partners in sub-Saharan Africa”, is expected to be used as a platform to unveil his foreign policy for Africa.

“It is expected that President Obama will make a major foreign policy statement on Africa”, Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni, told the Daily Graphic.

For Ghana, Obama’s visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth.

The Air Force One, carrying the 44th American President, his wife, Michelle and two daughters, as well as a retinue of senior US government officials, is expected to touch down at the Kotoka International Airport at 8:30p.m. tomorrow amid tight security by US and Ghanaian security agents.”

You know, this eligibility situation could really get ugly. Anyone for a spot of tea?

Dems To Unveil Their Health Care Horror Shortly

Comments Off on Dems To Unveil Their Health Care Horror Shortly

It’s coming…and, just like most everything with the current House of Representatives, it’s coming in a hurry. Dictator Obama has decreed that he wants a health care plan passed YESTERDAY, (and at least by the end of August) and Pelosi and Co. are scrambling to comply. All that remains is the revelation of the beast.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee is attempting to complete markups and actions on its bill by today. The Senate Finance committee, however, has yet to finish its work. Rest assured that no matter WHAT form the beast finally takes, huge tax hikes are coming to pay for the folly.

CQ Politics details that:

House Democrats will introduce their full healthcare reform bill Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday while acknowledging she has much work left to do to win over members of her own caucus.

“We’re still on schedule. We have plans to vote for this legislation before we leave for the August recess,” Pelosi said at a news conference. Pelosi said, however, that the bill to be unveiled would have to undergo further changes during committee markup to garner enough support among Democrats. “It is just the beginning,” she said.

“It won’t be the finished product,” Pelosi said. “In order for us to be on schedule, we have to roll out legislation this week.”

But even a Tuesday introduction, to be followed by possible committee action beginning before week’s end, represents a slight setback to the House Democratic leadership’s ambitious goal of passing a healthcare reform bill before the lower chamber departs for its summer recess on July 31.

House Democrats were supposed to introduce a complete draft of the bill on Friday but postponed their plans amid a furor raised by centrist Democrats, who offered Pelosi and the chairmen a list of complaints, including that the measure did not go far enough to reduce the cost of healthcare.

You know what I don’t hear in the debate on healthcare? Cost disclosure to the patient. In any other industry, the client normally knows the cost of the service before the service is given. Our healthcare system has a byzantine cost structure that is really NO structure at all. The same services will have wildly varying costs depending upon what “box” the patient is in: Medicare, HMO, private insurance, no insurance…and virtually none of it is disclosed to the patient beforehand.

Put the prices on the menu, and make the prices the same for everyone. Just a small suggestion, a small common sense step. While you’re waiting for this improbability to happen, you may want to bone up on your “survival medicine” with the fabulous Ditch Medicine below. Seriously. Print it out.
