It was no surprise who Oprah was supporting in the past election, even if she claimed she was going to keep out of using her show as a political platform. Of course that was rather conflicting to the facts, as pointed out by Gateway Pundit, that Oprah hosted Barack Obama on her show, campaigned for him, and even offered to produce his 30 minute infomercial. But when it comes to Sarah Palin, Oprah’s show is suddenly apolitical.

So guess what. After the election is over Oprah suddenly did want Palin on her show, but Palin doesn’t want a thing to do with her. That was just too much for Oprah to take:

“I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over…I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King],” Winfrey tells Extra. “But she didn’t talk to me.”

But Winfrey doesn’t think she’ll stay away for long.

“Maybe she’ll talk to me now that she has a [multi-million dollar] book deal,” she said. Winfrey’s book club propels novels onto bestselling lists.

I hope Sarah Palin never steps foot in Oprah’s studio. I’ll even make you a deal, Governor. Don’t go sit on Oprah’s couch and I’ll buy your book when it comes out. Heck, maybe I’ll even buy an extra and mail it to Oprah.
