The press is buzzing this morning because Barack Obama will sit down with what the MSM bills as a “conservative radio host.” Obama endorser and abortion rights advocate Michael Smerconish will chat with Barry today, in what will be the first radio show broadcast from the White House since Obama took office. Conservative. Hmmm. Smerconish doesn’t even brand himself as one.

Smerconish wanted to have his own show on MSNBC after doing a short simulcast during the week of April 23-April 27, 2007. It replaced Imus In The Morning for those days. The program was originally intended to be a three-day trial from April 23- 25, but was extended for the full week after the April 23 broadcast. In-studio guests included Jon Anderson of the musical group Yes, Senator Barack Obama, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Sadly, MSNBC passed on the Philly talker.

The major topic of the show will be health care, and the Prez is expected to answer questions from listeners calling into the program. The call-screeners will surely be working double-time, as you cannot bus in shills for a radio show. Here’s a link to the The Michael Smerconish Morning Show. Try to get through to Barry!

Later today, beginning at 2:30pm ET– shills and empty-headed lefties will have an even sweeter opportunity to do what they do best. The president plans to host an online “national health care forum”; set up by…guess who… Obama army Organizing for America. You have to RSVP to participate, AND give your email address to the organization. So if you don’t want the White House to have your email address (and possibly your computer data)–guess you’ll have to go to the library and sign up with an anonymous address. This is starting to get old.

The radio show will also be broadcast on Fox and other cable news networks.
