Obama Plans To Eliminate Bush Tax Cuts

I’ve talked with Obama voters who honestly believe their taxes won’t go up under the new administration. They also won’t have to worry about gas prices since they must ride unicorns to work as well.

Obama will most definitely raise your taxes. How else will he fund his trillions in spending? Ahh, here comes the Team Obama spin. Obama won’t raise your taxes, he’ll just eliminate tax cuts. That’s like saying, “you’re not fired, you’re downsized.”

Obama’s adviser David Axelrod explains:

Eliminating Bush’s tax cuts while adding in new middle-class tax cuts doesn’t mean that Obama is raising taxes, Axelrod argued.

If my taxes go up under Obama’s plan, then yes, he has raised my taxes. Seems like pretty simple math to me.
