Massachusetts Legislation Flip-Flops Again For The Dems & Kennedy Replacement; Paul Kirk To Be Senator
Email This Post
The legislature of the State of Massachusetts changed state laws pertaining to the replacement of a Senator AGAIN to favor Democrats. They are shameless in their flip-flopping at the behest of Obama’s party. It’s Chicago-style politics at play up there — today Massachusetts’ Governor Deval Patrick signed the new (a reversion to the old as it didn’t benefit the Dems any more) legislation, allowing him to appoint someone to Teddy Kennedy’s empty seat.
He promptly appointed former DNC head, Paul Kirk. The Democrats need all the votes they can get to cram through government health care. They want to get as close to 60 votes as they can, while forcing the legislation through via reconciliation. Bill O’Reilly is wrong on this one. They plan to do it one way or the other.
