House Votes To Cut Off All Funding To ACORN
Email This Post
The House of Representatives has voted to cut off all federal funding to ACORN. The roll call was 345 Ayes, 75 Nay, 2 Present, 2 No Vote. Check out the vote breakdown here.
Hopefully someone told Nancy Pelosi; she said yesterday that she’s clueless about the Senate amendment which passed overwhelmingly on Monday. It would cut off all housing funding to ACORN.
“I don’t even know what they passed,” Pelosi told The Post yesterday. “What did they do? They defunded it?”
Imagine Pelosi struggling with all her might to raise her eyebrows…because she REALLY wants too. She wants to frown too, and she is…but the Botox dictates it be on the inside.
The passage of Senator Johann’s amendment to suspend housing grants was a stunning blow to the lefty community-activist mafia group — and came as some Democrats and the White House have been backing away from the group. We’ll update this story- we’re looking into the House’s just-passed amendment to the appropriations bill to see if it leaves any loot-loopholes for ACORN and its alphabet soup of ancillary organizations.
Meanwhile, somebody look up the Pulitzer nomination requirements on behalf of James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles.
