We are seeking actual scans/photocopies of the alleged letters being mailed to ex-military involuntarily recalling them to service, and evidence of a General Mobilization of the military. The information we find will be posted here. Here are some things we’ve found from military forums and other threads:
Republic Broadcast Network: 3 days with shows dealing with mobilization: click on the appropriate hour’s MP3 to listen. The 11/17 2nd hour broadcast at around 4:05 states “calling up ALL commissioned and non-commissioned military, not just some but ALL.” Due to a large amount of interest in this matter, and a large number of websites linking to the show, the Pentagon were notified of the broadcast and asked for a complete transcript of the show. The Pentagon then reassured the broadcaster that there was no reason to worry, and that the recall was solely for “hunting down terrorists” or repairing ravaged properties: Nov 19 broadcast (listen to beginning of show and then from 23:30) Partial transcript of first broadcast.

Here’s what it said in part…..

During October 2008, you attended or were excused from attending an Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) mobilization screening in Kansas City, MO. The purpose of this screening was to determine your eligibility for involuntary recall to active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As you may recall, there had been a significant reduction in the Gaining Force Commanders’ (GFC) manpower shortfalls and it was explained that some Marines would receive orders and others would not.

Our records indicate that you were found qualified for involuntary recall and WILL be receiving orders for activation. It is anticipated that your orders will be issued in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, you are encouraged to begin or continue preparing for your upcoming mobilization.

You will be assigned one of two report dates:

Let me re-iterate, that you have been found qualified and WILL be receiving involuntary activation orders. If you have not received your copy of orders by 01 January 2009, you need to contact MOBCOM immediately.

New Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) Call Ups on Veteran’s Day

Looks like a large call up kicked on on none other than Veterans day. Great work Army. Thanks for the “Thank you for serving”. Anyway, CALLING ALL who have gone through this before it is time to help with:

* Deferments
* Exemptions
* Fighting the Army and generally burying them in paperwork.

We need everyone’s help in fighting this and helping with the D&E Packet. New call ups should read the following:

* Take the time and read everything at the IRR Post Part II especially the comments.
* Read “Clearing the Fog” at VetVoice
* Post your location on the IRR Map so we can see where everyone is from. No private information is given out here.. just a pin on a map.
* Join and participate in IRR Watch – The Google Group.

Remember, you now have a NEW SECOND JOB and that is to get a great Delay and Exemption packet together, ALWAYS ask for an exemption, and you cannot sleep until this is done!
