Earmarks In Obama’s ‘Earmark-less’ Spending Spree Bill
Email This Post
On Monday, Obama preached to us that his economic spending spree bill, Porkulus, was pork-free and without earmarks. Statements of absurdity always sound great in the vacuum of reality.
Here are a couple examples straight from the current spending spree bill that are blatant pork. Best of all, they come straight from the top of the chambers of Congress: Pelosi and Reid.
- Nancy Pelosi’s earmark pet project: $30 million for wetlands restoration in her hometown, San Fran.
- Harry Reid’s earmark pet project: Reid’s last minute successful porking for $8 billion for high-speed rail developments, including one to his state’s Las Vegas from LA.
How can Obama stand there and say with a straight face to America that this bill is pork-free when he can’t even keep his top two Dems from including earmarks? He’s a really good liar and 53% of America is quite gullible.

In the immortal words of Al Jolson “You aint seen nothing yet”. Stimulus spending? Bailouts?Politicians “gone wild”!! When did the banks ever bailout the consumers?? Big government is the problem! And we I see no end to it!! The answer is to join my crusade, and vote against ALL incumbents!! We have to let Washington know “We’ve Had Enough”!! Enough of their stupid, wasteful spending! They have an unlimited credit card, and every month we get the bill!! Time to kick ALL these bums out!!!!
