Chris Matthews Mocks Sarah Palin’s Faith As “Troubling”
Email This Post
If Chris Matthews’ proclamation that it was his new mission in life to make Obama’s presidency a success hadn’t turned you off from his “Hardball” show then perhaps this will. On Tuesday’s airing of “Hardball” Matthews railed on Palin for her faith and statement that she would follow God’s guidance in seeking her political future:
Is, is this commentary about theocracy and going to God for approval? We’ve been through that with President Bush who said he, “didn’t take advice from his father, he got it from another father.” And we’ve been through this sort of Joan of Arc period. Are we gonna get another piece of this where God’s leading candidates to run for president? I mean that sort of keeps us out of the conversation doesn’t it? I mean, seriously, I mean God is telling her to run? And she’s saying it openly on a secular television show? This isn’t the religious hour….Talking about God, in a political setting is troubling to a lot of people. If you’re talking about a big tent, this looks more like the church tent, not the big tent.
So it’s not okay for Sarah Palin to confirm her faith in God on television, but it is okay for Matthews to pledge his life and reputation for his new idol? Next time Matthews comes on your television screen, turn him off.

Chris Matthews will wish he had a relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ when he’s burning in hell…

It seems that having faith in God the Creator is a scary egnima to Mr. Matthews. Shouldn’t be this way with an objective person. Apparently he is subjective, and feelings rule the day, not facts.
