China Detects Deadly Sarin Gas At Border With North Korea

This is a pretty frighting development– especially as OUR Dear Leader is trying his hardest to disarm us. Sarin gas, a deadly neurotoxin, has been detected in air samples along the China/North Korea border. The RSOE Emergency and Disaster Information Service reports today that:

China has detected deadly nerve gas at its border with North Korea and suspects an accidental release inside the secretive state, a Japanese news report said Friday. The Chinese military is strengthening its surveillance activities after detecting the highly virulent sarin gas in November last year and in February in Liaoning province, the Asahi Shimbun newspaper reported, citing anonymous sources from the Chinese military. Sarin gas, which was developed in Germany before World War I, was used in the deadly 1995 nerve gas attack on the Tokyo subway by a doomsday cult. The Chinese special operations forces found 0.015-0.03 microgrammes of the gas per cubic metre when they were conducting regular surveys while there were winds from the direction of North Korea, the report said. China suspects that there were some experiments or accidents in its neighbouring country, it said.

Repeat: it’s not the first time a release of Sarin has happened in the area. China twice in the last year has detected trace amounts of sarin nerve agent at its border with North Korea, Agence France-Presse reported yesterday. Global Security Newswire details that:

While carrying out standard checks, Chinese military personnel in November and in February detected 0.015-0.03 micrograms per cubic meter of the chemical warfare material in Liaoning province, according to a report by Asahi Shimbun that cited anonymous Chinese military officials.

Beijing speculated that the gas resulted from an accident or an experiment conducted by North Korea, which is thought to hold up to 5,000 metric tons of chemical weapons.

Wednesday, South Korea stated that North Korea has the ability now to release at least 13 different deadly biological agents. North Korea reportedly had 5,000 tons of chemical weapons, believed to include mustard gas, phosgene and sarin. Among its biological agents are cholera, yellow fever, smallpox, typhus, typhoid fever and dysentery.

Obama is pursuing an approach with North Korea that marches lockstep with the UN’s modus operandi. Lets all disarm in the name of the Nobel!! We’ll go first!

The 6-party talks that Kim Jong Il has insisted upon have a good chance of happening, and the fairly passive policy of imposing sanctions on the country will probably continue. How can anyone trust such a madman who has groomed any successors in his own image?! His regime is highly unlikely to cease increased development of nuclear weapons, and has obviously no qualms about using them as threats. Biological weapons are fully in it’s hands; to be complacent about the fact is downright foolish.
