Change, Change, Change: The Latest Polls

Rasmussen Reports’ Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for today shows that:
Only 30% of the nation’s voters strongly approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President.
40%of voters strongly disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10.
Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. 53% disapprove.
Republicans have opened a six-point lead on Gallup’s Generic Congressional Ballot. The GOP moved ahead of Democrats by 48% to 44% among registered voters in the latest update on Gallup’s congressional ballot for the 2010 House elections, after trailing by six points in July and two points last month.
More Rasmussen:
60% say that the Fort Hood shootings should be investigated by the military as a terrorist act. Just 27% prefer a criminal investigation by civilian authorities.
This Veterans Day, 81% of Americans have a favorable opinion of the U.S. military. 36% had a close friend or relative who gave their life for our country. 69% say that military service is good for young people.
Independents are leaving the Dems in droves. What we have here is a huge case of buyer’s remorse.
