Ann Coulter Vs. Keith Olbermann: Ann Scores A Deadly Blow
Email This Post
Ann Coulter and MSNBC blowhard Keith Olbermann have a long standing feud that is delicious to watch. Granted, Olbermann makes an easy target as he’s so obviously insecure and can rant like no other. One of the things Keith LOVES to remind people of is his “Ivy League” education from Cornell. Well, Miss Anne punked Keith good, by calling him out on his true alma mater: Cornell AGRICULTURAL college. Not the same place as “Ivy Cornell”. Somebody better be feeding Keith some major Xanax right now, because the boy is going to stroke over this outing. Disclotheth Ann in “Olbermann’s Plastic Ivy”:
Olbermann relentlessly attacked low-level Bush administration employee Monica Goodling for not going to a name-dropping college, saying — approximately 1 million times — that she got her law degree “by sending 100 box tops to Religious Lunatic University.” I would venture to say that the students at Goodling’s law school at Regent University are far more impressive than those at the Cornell agriculture school — the land-grant, non-Ivy League school Keith attended.
I wouldn’t mention it, except that Olbermann savages anyone who didn’t go to an impressive college. As it happens, he didn’t go to an impressive college, either. If you’ve ever watched any three nights of his show, you know that Olbermann went to Cornell. But he always forgets to mention that he went to the school that offers classes in milking and bovine management.
Indeed, Keith is constantly lying about his nonexistent “Ivy League” education, boasting to Playboy magazine, for example: “My Ivy League education taught me how to cut corners, skim books and take an idea and write 15 pages on it, and also how to work all day at the Cornell radio station and never actually go to class.”
Except Keith didn’t go to the Ivy League Cornell; he went to the Old MacDonald Cornell.
Ann rightly states that she’s done Keith a favor with the outing, because now he can be free, and stop worrying about people finding out the truth. I must watch Olbermann this week to see how nuclear the meltdown will be. It will be nasty, but I cannot look away.

It’s possible that you aren’t bright enough to know a single thing about higher education, but Coulter is wrong–again–and Olbermann has the same diploma from the same Ivy League school as does Coulter. BTW: her increasingly erratic behavior–even for her–and bony, skeletal appearance could well mean the rumors of her drug abuse are, indeed, true.

Hey, Keith!
March 8th, 2009 at 2:27 am
Come on, Johnny. Keith did go to the ag school, not the same thing at all. He admits it and then plays a silly game of semantics.
Some people just don’t get Ann.
Another reason to love her.

“Gunner.” Are you one the Nelson brothers?
It’s really a shame that you know nothing about higher education. You should try it sometime.
Your membership in the Coked-Out Coulter Club doesn’t change the fact that ag school or not–which Olbermann has never denied–it’s Cornell and it’s Ivy League. Fact.
Coulter certainly is the “c-word” in “conservative”, isn’t she?

ann coulter is ugly from the inside out.the loonie left and the radical right are ruining this country.HATE is the word of the day.

It’s the ag school, Johnny. Nothing wrong with that — if you want to grow soybeans and such.
I will leave the decision as to whether it’s “higher education” in your capable hands.
Far be it from me to insult the salt of the earth American farmer.
Ann is for those of us with sophisticated taste, so I understand you incomprehension.
Nothing for you to be ashamed of.

Ann Coulter is great. Only bad part is the libturds pretend to ignore her colorfully made arguments on the grounds that she’s “mean”. As though libturds are a civil and friendly lot.

Enjoy yourselves out here on the 13% fringe. Look both ways before you cross, ‘kay?

Calling CALS the “non-Ivy League school” is so bizarre, it’s as if Coulter decided, one day for kicks, to just say increasingly ridiculous things to see how many people would believe her and how many blogs would reprint those things.

Exactly, Cornell alum. “Gunner” Nelson here gets a bit confused once things progress past junior high.

Did any of you guys actually bother to do any research on the Ag School at Cornell? Just take the time to google it or at least go to cornell.edu. The Ag School is not just a farm school loosely affiliated with the university. It is one of the colleges within the university, just like the School of Engineering, the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Human Ecology, etc. All of the 7 Cornell University Colleges have their buildings on the same campus and students can take courses in any of the other colleges just as they would in their own college.
Furthermore, I want to address this whole misconception about the Ivy League. First of all, the Ivy League is not an academic term. Rather it’s a sports league. (Look it up if you don’t believe me.) Ag students are eligible for Cornell’s Ivy League teams, just like the arts students. There’s absolutely no basis to the idea that the Ag School isn’t in the Ivy League.
So, why am I getting so worked up about this? As you could probably guess, I’m a student in the Ag School. Specifically, I am a biology major who, like the bio students in the arts school, takes the same classes taught by the same professors in the same buildings on the same campus. The requirements for my bio major are exacrly the same as those for any other bio major. Additionally, I have the freedom to take classes in any Cornell University college, and the same goes for those in the other colleges. It’s the same education, and, as hard as it is to believe, my qualifications for entering the university were better than those of the average arts student. According to Coulter, the average arts student has a 1325 SAT. I guess that’s pretty high, but I got a 1500, so what do I know? I’m just a biology student in the Ag School. Perhaps I should stop worrying and just accept that I’m somehow inferior to the arts students in such academically impressive A&S majors like dance.
(All information about Cornell University listed in this comment can probably be found by spending 5 minutes researching the topic online.)

Brian, you are about the only voice of reason that I’ve seen here. Thanks for educating these Coulterites.

A nice link showing that the SAT scores needed to get into the Ag school are much lower than the liberal arts college (even lower than the hospitality management school).
No wonder KO told Playboy: ““My Ivy League education taught me how to cut corners, skim books and take an idea and write 15 pages on it, and also how to work all day at the Cornell radio station and never actually go to class.”
If Keith is so proud of his college, he should be saying Ag School every time he says Cornell. Anybody want to bet on whether he does that? Didn’t think so.

Yawn. Zzzz….

Cornell is made up of several colleges — they are all Ivy League (a sports league) and all part of the university. It’s the same place. Anyone who didn’t spend their Cornell years in a vodka bottle would know that. Oh sorry Ann.

Who cares, Olbermann is a scumbag, know nothing! His next thought will be his first!
