President Obama’s Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and EPIC FAIL Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Tom Daschle have gotten plenty of attention regarding their failure to pay taxes, but what about liberal clown Al Franken?

Franken, who is STILL fighting incumbent GOP Sen. Norm Coleman for Minnesota’s Senate seat, failed to pay at least $70,000 in taxes to 17 states prior to running for office. 17 states, you say? Al gets around because he’s “a celebrity.”

Minnesota’s Star Tribune reports that Al was paid to appear at a number of celeb appearances across the country, and was to file taxes appropriately in those states since 2003. Franken put out a circus flyer spreadsheet awhile back, assuming it would get us to back off. Funny thing is, there’s still been NO verification Franken has actually paid them.

Franken has clammed up, and is blaming his attorney Allen Chanzis for the error. At least it sounds better than blaming Turbo-Tax like Geithner! Sortof.

Remember when Speaker Nancy Pelosi promised that an ethics investigation report on Charlie Rangel’s tax shenanigans would be produced by January 3rd? San Fran Nan needs a calendar- a month later: still no report.

And remember Senate Banking Chairman Chris Dodd sweet mortgage? This was a hot story while he was overseeing the bailout of the housing industry, but seems to have been forgotten in the panic over The End Of The World As We Know It, (or as we will refer to it here from now on, TEOTWAWKI.) Dodd promised to produce his mortgage papers for inspection at the height of the scandal, but…well, you know the answer. No papers.

Hey skanky Dems: how about we just make this simple and have a mass audit of ALL your asses? Now THAT would make for an awesome circus.
