99% Votes Recounted In Minnesota With Coleman Leading Franken
Email This Post
Sorry, Al. With 99% of the Minnesota senate votes through the recount process, Norm Coleman has maintained his lead over Al Franken. Coleman’s lead is now at 251 votes out of 2.9 million cast. Incredibly close, but a win by 1 vote is still a win.
Despite the recount process being completed today, no official report is expected for another ten days, according to the Star Tribune. Even then, when Franken loses, I’m expecting a drawn out court and potential Senate process before this is laid to rest.
